Teresa Sullivan
RN, MBA
Teresa Sullivan has worked in the addiction treatment field for 25 years as an administrator, educator and clinician. Her experience and professional interests encompass a broad spectrum of treatment settings and clients.
Most recently Ms. Sullivan held the position of Director of Psychosocial Services for the David E. Smith Medical Group, an outpatient addiction medicine practice. She incorporated multi-dimensional evidence based tools to facilitate assessment, referral and patient engagement in continuing treatment.
Previously, as Program Director for Promises Malibu, she developed a spectrum of care that included primary residential, extended care, and outpatient treatment. The Program integrated traditional services with new, innovative modalities and boasted a highly accomplished and diverse treatment team.
As Administrative Director for Behavioral Health Services at Daniel Freeman Hospital, Ms. Sullivan had responsibility for inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and addiction treatment programs.
Her prior experience includes conducting drug education seminars in Preparatory Schools in New England and California.
She also worked as an RN and Manager at hospital-Based treatment programs in Northern and Southern California including Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.
Ms Sullivan is a registered nurse with specialty certification in addiction.
