Kayla Leroy

Care Coordinator

Kayla's decision to embark on a career in social services was fueled by a commitment and dedication to her own personal recovery.  She is recognized throughout the 12-step community in South Orange County, acting as a sponsor and mentor to others striving for sobriety. Through her experiences and personal hardships Kayla remained sober, and it is her sobriety that helped her rise above challenges and difficulties with positivity and personal growth.

Kayla has worked as a Care Coordinator and Counselor in a variety of settings serving young adults. She currently attends Saddleback College pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with plans to further her education at the University of California.

Kayla serves as a Care Coordinator and uses her skills as a Recovery Coach assisting adolescents at Newport Academy to build a strong foundation for their 12-step recovery.  She also coordinates in-house 12 step speaker meetings and facilitates Newport Academy's participation in community 12 step programs.
