Dr. Iman Bar was born in Cairo, Egypt, attended medical school at Cairo University, did her internship in Spain and Hungary and did Post Graduate Training in Paris, France. In 1989, Dr. Bar completed her Pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Cairo University, where she volunteered as a physician at the local orphanages.

By completing a doctorate degree in pediatric Hematology and Oncology Dr. Bar traveled to the United States for the first time in 1993. After returning to Egypt, Dr. Bar operated a mobile clinic for Bedouins residing south of Sinai, serving five of the oldest nomadic tribe villages that reside between Israel and Egypt, needing a guide, sunscreen, lots of water and a 4-wheel drive vehicle to reach her villages.

In 1995, she came to the United States for further training, including a clinical Externship in Bone Marrow Transplant at the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, followed by a Post Doctoral fellowship in Gene Therapy at UC San Diego.

In 1998, Dr. Bar moved to Orange County to join the UCI medical staff to work at the Laguna Beach Community clinic, and to open a private practice in Costa Mesa, along with a Community CARE clinic.

The life of Dr. Bar has been centered on helping other people through her practice in Costa Mesa, creating a Community Care Clinic and through starting numerous medical related programs to benefits children, mothers, teens and Make a Wish Participants.
